Our History in Shreveport

A Shreveport native, Johnson Nesbitt has spent his life in northwest Louisiana, growing up in the community, working, and then apprenticing for a local construction company. Throughout his time working, Johnson dreamed of owning a business one day, one driven by his admiration for the community that raised him. That dream culminated in what is now LA Rain Pros.

Starting from humble beginnings, LA Rain Pros was founded in 2006, operating out of Johnson and his wife’s home. With difficult beginnings and only a handful of jobs completed in the first year, Johnson didn’t give up. In the following years, the business expanded and found a permanent location in 2011.

Today, LA Rain Pros is a thriving gutter and garage door installation company that has completed over 30,000 installation jobs in Shreveport and the surrounding Ark-La-Tex area.

Through it all, Johnson has remained committed to his community and its members, reinforcing the family- and community-driven values on which he and his wife founded the company.

At LA Rain Pros, our mission is to build lasting relationships with homeowners in our community, not only through quality gutter and garage door services, but through how we show up for our neighbors.

Throughout our years of service, we’ve worked with numerous charities and local organizations, including the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, donating the material and installing the gutters on each dream home for the past decade. We also participate in Toys for Tots and sponsor local high school sports teams.

We are grateful to have an amazing military community in the Shreveport-Bossier City area, and to show our support, we offer both active duty military and veteran discounts to all who present their ID at the time of their estimate.
